In the coming few weeks many will look to get their state and income taxes filed as quickly as possible in hopes of receiving a tax refund check by the end of January or early February 2012.  Luckily, there are many free resources online including California State income tax forms 2011 to help when it comes to filing taxes.

By accessing the CA.gov tax forms link here many will find out all the information they need.  Remember that Turbo Tax, H&B Block, TaxSlayer and all of the other tax preparation software companies can help when it comes to filing taxes online as well.  It is often true that these tax preparation software companies will offer Federal Income tax filing for free but state income tax will come with a small fee.

It is always smart to read the fine print before going through any type of tax filing process.  By reading the fine print the customer will know if there are fees or expenses that will likely come up towards the end of the process.  The most common tax forms that will be filed in 2012 will likely be the 1040, 1040A and 1040EZ.  There are many other forms but these are often the easiest and most common forms to use for everyday Americans who are employed.

When filing taxes for a specific state it is usually easiest to file both Federal and State taxes together.  Turbo Tax, H&R Block and other companies make this quite easy but do not feel as if they are the only option.  It would be smart to do plenty of homework and understand that taxes can be filed 100% independent if you want to put forth the time and effort.  Here are some more links that could help:
